Lupin the Third
I don't tend to make much anime/animation related items, but Castle of Cagliostro is one of my favourite movies and I just had a random 'I want to make something Lupin related!' moment. It was also partially inspired by my research into pixel art and finding a pixel art recreation of this same scene. It's a memorable image from the film and I wanted to see if I could recreate it too.
Unlike most of my scenes this one is all polymer clay. It's probably more of a 'statue' than a scene. The car was very complicated and I decided the only way I could make it 'have an inside' was to make it in two separate parts that sit together. I'd never made anything like a car before, and I've never really drawn cars or been interested in cars at all so I didn't do a great job on that. Overall it's a bit ropey but I still enjoyed trying it and it still sits on my shelf and reminds me of a film I really love, so thats what matters.
